Emmet A. Fairfield


Since 1984, Emmet A. Fairfield has concentrated his practice primarily in the representation of banks and other creditors.  He regularly advises financial institutions on loan documentation, Uniform Commercial Code issues, distressed loan negotiations, and other regulatory affairs affecting lenders.  Emmet has also had extensive experience in the United States Bankruptcy Court advocating for his clients’ creditors’ rights.  In addition, Emmet frequently represents clients in state court lien enforcement and commercial collection matters.

Mr. Fairfield often lectures to other legal professionals in bankruptcy, mortgage foreclosures, and distressed loan topics at continuing legal education programs throughout the state.
