Daniel L. Hamilton


Daniel L. Hamilton has a diversified practice focusing on real estate, transactional matters, and Illinois legislative and administrative actions. Mr. Hamilton is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and Southern Illinois University School of Law. Prior to practicing law, he worked in the Illinois General Assembly as a legislative analyst advising elected officials, drafting legislation, and participating in a variety of facets of the legislative process. His background in the General Assembly provided him with expertise in policy making and governmental affairs. Mr. Hamilton also has extensive experience in managing and advising political campaigns and grass roots organizations. Mr. Hamilton facilitates and represents clients in commercial and residential real estate transactions, zoning issues, and property tax valuations. He also advises on general employment law matters, assists in federal contractor compliance obligations, prepares OFCCP compliant affirmative action plans, and represents employers in collective-bargaining and employment disputes. Mr. Hamilton joined Brown, Hay + Stephens in 2013
