William A. Davis


William A. Davis has, for years, focused his practice in the area of litigation. As a former Assistant State’s Attorney and Assistant Attorney General, Mr. Davis has extensive trial experience in a wide range of cases. At the Sangamon County State’s Attorney’s Office, Mr. Davis practiced in traffic misdemeanor DUI, domestic violence and general felony cases, including theft, drug cases, gun crimes, sex crimes and first degree murder. While working off of his trial experience, Mr. Davis also handles civil litigation from filing a complaint to trial and verdict. Mr. Davis also has experience before administrative bodies of the State of Illinois, including driver’s license reinstatement, hearings before the Illinois Liquor Control Commission, and the Illinois Department for Professional Regulation.
