Erica L. Riplinger

Erica L. Riplinger joined the firm in 2007, after receiving her Juris Doctor degree from Southern Illinois University School of Law. She concentrates her practice in the area of civil litigation and family law. Ms. Riplinger has extensive experience litigating a variety of issues, including dissolutions, parenting time and decision-making, guardianships, child support, property division, maintenance, and orders of protection. She is also a certified child’s representative.

Ms. Riplinger also provides mediation services in dissolution and family cases. Mediation can be a cost-effective and amicable way for parties to control the outcome in what can often be a stressful and uncertain time. She conducts individual and joint sessions that focus on achieving mutually agreeable solutions that work for each unique family.

She is a past president on the board of directors for the Central Illinois Foodbank and Sojourn Shelter and Services, Inc., as well as a prior member of the Lincoln Land Community College Foundation Board.
