David Hennessy focuses his practice in the areas of complex civil litigation and business consulting. Mr. Hennessy regularly assists professionals and corporations with their transactional and litigation needs, resolving many matters at trial as well as handling cases in the appellate court. David maintains an active trial practice, which allows him to provide his clients with seamless advice whenever litigation arises. David also leverages his finance education to help answer difficult questions facing businesses of all sizes. David has particular expertise in the areas of professional liability defense and technology law.
David is proud to serve as an appointed member of the Illinois State Bar Association’s Business Advice and Financial Planning and Privacy and Information Security Law Section Councils and has previously served on the Illinois State Bar Association's Task Force on New Lawyers and Commercial Banking, Collections, and Bankruptcy Section Council. He also acts as a founding member and past President of the Board of Directors for 100+ Who Care in Springfield and the Chair of the Board of Directors for the Old Capitol Art Fair.
