Alison Hayden joined Brown, Hay & Stephens, LLP in 2008. Ms. Hayden's practice is focused in the area of environmental law, counseling clients regarding compliance with various requirements of federal and state environmental laws and regulations. Ms. Hayden also represents and advises clients in all phases of permitting and enforcement matters and lobbies on behalf of clients interests in front of the State Legislature. Prior to joining Brown, Hay & Stephens, LLP, Ms. Hayden worked as attorney for Lt. Governor Pat Quinn, drafting legislation and working on environmental policy matters for Illinois. Prior to law school, Ms. Hayden worked as an environmental engineer for a Fortune 500 company. Ms. Hayden serves as a Board Member of Downtown Springfield, Inc. and the Vachel Lindsay Association, and is an active member of the Illinois State Bar Association Environmental Law Section Council.

Her recent article: Two Cheers for the Illinois Freedom of Information Act, published in the February 2010 Illinois Bar Journal.
